New fleet of winter maintenance equipment for operators of the M6 Toll

Romaquip during 2011 supplied Midland Expressway Ltd, operators of the M6 Toll with a new fleet of winter maintenance equipment. We operate with five 11m permanent mount stainless steel spreaders all complete with Romaquip's snow plough. 

We are very satisfied with the overall performance of the Romaquip gritters. The gritters being fabricated from stainless steel construction throughout will not suffer from the corrosion problems we had with our previous mild steel constructed bodies, thus reducing downtime and expensive repair and refurbishment costs over their operating lives. The body carries a twenty year anti-perforation warranty and the longevity of the equipment will enable the gritting equipment to be remounted onto subsequent chassis. 

Romaquip is a very professional company and their after sales service and parts support is excellent. To minimise downtime, they have also provided us with a quantity of impress stock parts. 

We would have no hesitation in dealing with Romaquip in relation to our winter maintenance equipment in the future.
